Occupational Therapist

Job Summary

Occupational Therapist provides medically prescribed occupational therapy services to patients in their own homes or contracted institutions, under Physician's orders, to restore or improve physical functioning impaired by illness, accident or disease.  

Job Qualifications

  • Must have current North Carolina license for Occupational Therapy and current CPR.
  • At least one year clinical experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting.
  • Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
  • Has critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast pace environment.
  • Has good communication skills both oral and written and has organizational ability necessary to complete and submit all required documentation of patient care within established time frames.
  • Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation.
